Who we are
I am Sotiris Pelekanos, born in 1956 in Akanthou in the province of Famagusta, a village famous for its excellent quality olive oil. Unfortunately, my village has been occupied by Turkish troops since 1974. For many years, I have been maintaining olive groves in the village of Frenaros, an area of 2 hectares and 750 trees of the Koroneiki variety. My trees are 2-20 years old.
I have recently retired from my main occupation and I can now devote myself to my great love which is olive growing and the production of olive oil of excellent quality. For the first time, this year I have bottled my oil and my aim is to improve the presentation of my product, so that people can easily find what I have to offer, which is extra virgin olive oil, produced with knowledge, experience and passion.
